Booking Class Query

I have an upcoming QF return flight which was recently booked by my employer under booking classes N and O (discount economy). Due to this I was unable to submit a classic upgrade request. When I try to book the same flight myself on the QF website I see only saver fares are available (which are certainly eligible to upgrade) however EF is showing the following loadings;

J9 C9 D9 I6 W5 R4 T0 Y4 B4 H4 K4 M4L4 V4 S4 N3 G0

Why are only saver fares available on QF.com yet N fare is still showing as 3?

Beecause QF likely do not have a fare in the market in question that books into N class.

Remember many flights are offered as connecting opportunities (eg: MEL-BNE could feed BNE-NRT, BNE-SIN, BNE-CNS etc etc etc) with potentially hundreds of fares over hundreds of markets applicable to any one flight sector you can't look at the EF availability in isolation.

You should be looking at the EF fare information for the particular market/city pair you want and that will show you the fares and what booking classes they book into that are in the market.

The point of sale on my EF account was set to USA. Interesting that USA have cheaper fare classes available to them on the same flight that AUS do not...
