if voucher not bought during promotion period, I don't think u will get the double sc..

Incorrect. This has previously been possible. It just doesn't happen automatically as the booking creation (i.e. gift voucher creation) date is not within the eligibility period. However, if you redeem the flight within the eligibility period for a flight with the travel-eligibility period, then it should be eligible for DSC, and this has been my experience previously. You just have to wait the 6 weeks, and then contact the service centre for manual credit. (I'm hoping this won't be any more difficult once the Service Centre is moved offshore).

It shouldn't be eligible according to Red Roo

- The offer and conditions are based on the booking creation date, so this may assist with queries about using existing vouchers, credits, rebooking

But what's not to like if it's possible to get the bonus in either case :)

Given the wording of the promotion refers to "book a flight between..." the method of payment is irrelevant (ie: cash vs voucher vs CC) thus the argument can be made both ways.... and QFF have been fair in previously stated cases in providing credit if flights were booked during the promotion period.

Anyone know whether a booking has to be ticketed inside the promotion period or just booked(without it being ticketed) in terms of the double status credits promotion, family member made a booking via the QF call centre (due to online multi city issues).
Booked and confirmed reservation inside the promotion period, paid over the phone with CC and ticketed a week later (outside the promotion period).

I don't remember seeing the word 'ticketed' in the T+C's of the offer, just 'booked'.

Any idea or experience?

Should be fine. booking created during the promo period so I see no issue. If there is just calling QFF would sort it out. See zero reason why this would not be eligible.

I paid for four flights by Bpay with an hour or so left to run. The payment went through on the day after the promo but I have called and confirmed all flights will be double SC.

So I would expect that based on previous advice here, another run of DSC transactions will take place today.

I've got 2 flights coming up next week, so hope the DSC will be included in next Fridays run.

HI everyone,

So for data points:
Flight 16/03/17 SC Posted 16/03/17 DSC Posted 20/03/17 (2 working days)
Flight 16/03/17 SC Posted 17/03/17 DSC Posted 21/03/17 (2 working days)
Flight 21/03/17 SC Posted 21/03/17 DSC Posted 23/03/17 (2 working days)
Flight 22/03/17 SC Posted 23/03/17 DSC Posted 27/03/17 (2 working days)

All flights were domestic and all DSC postings were made 2 working days (made longer when original SC posts on Thursday or Friday as DSC posted on Monday or Tuesday respectively.

My flights on 21 March and 22 March were originally booked for late April. Meeting was moved up so dates changed to March and no problems with QF posting DSC, so appears PNR date created and when flights are then taken kicks in the DSC (not when flights are originally booked). Working very well so far but the big one is my international flights in June which should kick me in to the 14.5 year project known as QF LTG status :)

Used vouchers purchased during DSC period for the SYD/CHC J sale that started right after the DSC offer.

I called up QANTAS to confirm the PNR creation date and it was confirmed that the creation date was within the DSC period.

Damn. Had a couple of trips but didn't know the dates and wasn't sure if this would have worked.

have you travel on those tickets/voucher n get the SC?

Got a work trip coming up on Monday. Got the work travel agent to use the voucher bought during the DSC period for the booking. Instead of booking a return flight they use the voucher for a one way
Anyway will report next week, if the DSC posted then, otherwise when it got posted.

My flights taken and will be monitoring with interest whether they run to coyote25's schedule - if so they should appear tomorrow or Saturday

Then have two vouchers to burn by next year - shouldn't be a problem

Flew on Monday, DSCs appeared Thursday evening (they weren't there during the day). Still waiting for Wednesday's DSCs to appear.

If anyone has lost the voucher reference #, (((if QF brings this double SC offer out again-always write down the voucher/PNR/Booking Reference #))), don't assume keeping it in email only is safe, if you have the 081 ticket number obtained from some bank statements, QF telephone sales can book your bookings for you, from the 081 starting point.
I thought I had kept the DSC ending Feb 17 in my email, but it wasn't there, and I certainly didn't delete it, and the gremblins most likely have it!
Anyway, rang up 131313 early today, provided the 081 number, and the booking has been done.
Add the double QPoints, I will be "swimming in it" and most likely retain QF SG.

If you bought your voucher outside of the DSC promo period you'll need to ask QF after you've flown to give you the double SCs. It won't happen automatically.

Since AP comments about double QPoints he could be confusing things with the current double points offer. Noting 2 promos (eg: DSC or DP) can't be applied to the same booking.
