What is the value of the gift voucher?
One gift voucher is $400 another is ~$540 and another is ~$820. More than enough to cover each of the bookings.

Still no itinerary or residual gift voucher but the bookings are in my profile.

John the ~$540 and $820 values sound like residual vouchers or credit vouchers from cancelled flights? If the later of course the original fare class conditions will apply and force higher fares on any new tickets booked. This shouldn't be the case for a residual voucher.

my 2 cents

I suspect they are residual credit from Gift Vouchers already part spent. As such Gift Voucher conditions should apply.

yes, that's what I wrote. Maybe I wasn't clear enough :) I meant that only in the case of a CREDIT voucher from a cx booking would the original fare conditions apply :)

They were originally $1000 gift vouchers and have already booked some flights.

I couldn't wait so called. Apparently the bookings were on manual queue or the far queue to be processed. I gave them the hurry up and the booking for the largest amount has already been processed and I have received residual voucher. The other 2 bookings will be processed in the next couple of hours or whenever is convenient for the far queue to be processed.

Frustrating and time consuming.

ah the bloody Far Queue.... hadn't had that pleasure for awhile... had figured maybe they'd sorted that out... guess not!

Glad it's coming through now for you

Oops. Original reply meant for another thread.

I guess these vouchers must have been bought when there were bonus points. Unless you're getting bonus points personally I'd just get $50 vouchers.

Of course, there last lasts year's amex deals (20% rebate on three Qantas transactions, then $150 rebate for $750 of Qantas spend).

Bonus points, Amex promotion with cashback, HSBC promotion with cashback which reminds me to chase them up again.
