Amenity packs - Emirates

I'll be flying Emirates from Dubai to Sydney in F next month (got lucky with the points redemption!). There is a short layover in BKK.

Does anyone know whether you'll get a second amenity pack for the BKK to Sydney leg? I'd like to give that to my partner if that's the case

If it's a day flight then usually no, but you can ask for one and they usually (IME) give you one.

I read that they only give them out as a matter of course on night and 10hr+ flights, however I've always gotten one on request on my MEL-AKL runs

Should get one BKK-SYD and will be different crew. DXB-BKK should get one also, but would be the flight of two you wouldn't.

Not sure where you heard that. Always get them on the 7 hour SIN-BNE flights in both directions - got one just last week.

Also on 7 hour DXB-PVG/PEK

Thanks all. Sounds like I am entitled to request one for the DXB-BKK leg and will automatically get one for the BKK-SYD leg! Ms karitas would be very happy
