lowest i can see is 562 for late oct via STA, qantas still at 599 - is their best price guarantee worth pursuing...
I see that both HKG and PVG are on sale for $599 on the Qantas website (and cheaper elsewhere). Anyone know if you can book an open-jaw, i.e. SYD-HKG/PVG-SYD for $599?

Qantas let you do that with open jaw? I wanted to book SYD-HKG-BNE but then cannot use gift vouchers as it is multi-trip.Ended up booking BNE-HKG-MEL(stopover 23hr)-ADL for $603 using 4 vouchers bought under various AMEX offers. This cheap fare will allow me to squeeze meetings in MEL and ADL as well as HKG.

One of the conditions of the gift vouchers is not able to be used for multi-city bookings. Interesting that condition is overlooked. They may charge you booking fee for that (waived for P1s) but you can always insist saying that you can't book using multiple vouchers online.
