Acronyms on JQ Boarding Passes

I appreciated your answer, just it didn't really address my question. Sorry for pointing that out.
Ok, OK. From my assessment of your situation, I believe HVC possibly gets you....... over and above what I, as a NB gets.........lounge access if it happens to be open. (There, I answer it succinctly!) ;)

Actually reflecting, I think I got ripped off with the front row on the 787 with boarding via the second door. No boarding comedy show!
I did get to have a mob standing in my leg space for the whole flight, but that probably wasn't a high value benefit.

As suspected NB getting lounge access is greater than what this WP gets from HVC.

:D

As previously stated, HVC= High Value Customer. Not sure what exactly it 'gives' you, but this may mean a high level Qantas FF, or a company that buys a heap of tickets with jetstar.

I found out that its handy to keep your JQ boarding pass in your pocket: recent trips to/from MEL-HNL I needed to show the flight crew that I had pre-purchased food and IFE. Neither had transferred to the pax manifest.
So there are a whole new bunch of codes for the meals you pre-purchase, most start with MU or MO

That is of course, if you have a boarding pass. I did notice that no such codes appear on the text message BP, so that could be a genuine problem!

I fly weekly on JQ (and am QF WP) and have HVC on every ticket.

It does not get me anything!

Getting to know the JQ crew gets you more, helping to get better seats, allowing you to move to empty rows prior to take off etc

On my ZQN-AKL flight yesterday the flight attendant had a passenger manifest with her as she was conducting the BOB service and confirmed with me that I had credit to spend (per 'V10A' on my boarding pass). She proactively suggested an additional item on top of my selection in order to make up the $10 - in her words "might as well make the most of your money". :D

Refers to seat selection zone, from what I've seen (I gather it was a non-upfront, non-emergency exit selection?)

I don't think that's the correct answer. I had SRR3 on my WLG-AKL boarding pass today and as I'd booked it as a QF codeshare I didn't do any seat selection at all.

I was given an exit row (without asking).

V05A no longer appears on BP issued at gate - not a problem if the crew carry the manifest when serving. Quite often they know you have a voucher and ask you what you would like. But if the crew haven't bothered with the manifest beware - you are likely to be treated like a cheat and a liar and publicly humiliated. Just this week I said to the snotty young man as I handed him my boarding pass that I had a voucher and would like a hot chocolate and a muffin. He told me I didn't have a voucher on my boarding pass (duh! wonder how long he has worked for Jetstar). I told him I had purchased a bundle and politely pointed out the QFF points and bag. It had been a long day, I had missed the earlier flight, and ..... I quietly sighed. He curtly told me I didn't need to be like that and that they couldn't just take the word of customers. And that was row 3. Perhaps he had had a long day. I think he just had attitude. I ignored him and later lodged a complaint - as if that will make a difference. From here on in, I will keep a copy of my booking on my phone.

This may have been answered up the thread but I've got IPSC on my DPS-DRW flight tonight (along with BA20, JLSF, MA02 and QFFP). Any ideas? Only one I can think of is "Is pilfering status credits".

I also had IPSC on a recent flight, (Also IFOO, CODE, PACK), IFOO is the IFE I think but unsure of the others.

My latest:

(BA30,LNGE,MS02,QFFP)
(TIG,UPFX)

Despite the cavalcade of acronyms listed on my boarding pass there was one missing for an additional $10 onboard credit. It caused confusion with the cabin crew as their records indicated I was entitled to it even though it didn't match up with the boarding pass.

What is MS02 & TIG?
