Hi All,

Anyone booked a J reward BNE/SYD/MEL>HKG>ORD before?
The availability looks patchy, I can't see any sort of pattern (i.e. which days of the week, etc, etc).

Would appreciate any advice / experiences.

Thanks!

CX will release seats early on in the process (as soon as the booking window opens) and then you might see nothing again until very close in (like the fortnight, week or even day before travel).

CX commands extraordinary fares for transpac ex HKG (HKD43,000 is their lead in price). Award seats can be hard to secure until last minute when they know how many will go out empty. F class also opens up the day or so before.

My apologies, I mean through QFF on QF points. They seem to have decent availability @ 360 days out for LAX & JFK, just patch on ORD.
