Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Got my 500 clam cards in before midnight, so I am happy.

CC just cycled, so I don't have to pay for 53 days, and 3 MR (Krisflyer in my case) points per dollar with 6% off face value.

Nice deal. Thanks to whoever posted.

I timed my car purchase on CC to be paid in mid November. it feels damn good doesn't it ! A win......in a way.

Oh, did you pay with egift cards for 5% off and 3ppd? ;)
2ppd, but free 3 years warrantee wasn't bad.

Cellarmasters has started delivering the Grand Final weekends goodies already, which is great service. I haven't had time yet to check out my Plumms but like Wozza, I could be converted to the stemless variety.

Speaking of the great man, I hope too much work isn't slowing him down too much, but I will miss his photos taken on table top outside what appeared to be the back porch area.

Come to think of it, Wozza always looks like an aston martin man doesn't he...

Sorry, wasn't aware either of the aforementioned were made for VM....

No need to apologise. I can't even claim that assertion is strictly true, but that's the only place I've seen these two, so... Nonetheless some of the others in the pack looked interesting.

There's definitely some toothsome drops in there but like many others on the forum I'm on a self-imposed buying ban (at the moment)...

Popped into BWS to collect my order and they don't have it, only the paperwork. Cellarmasters is trying to locate it  there goes having a bottle with dinner.

Hard to believe they wouldn't have or had it if they received the paperwork. Maybe another AFFer saw your post and showed up in a trenchcoat, glasses, and mustache and pinched your grog...

thankyou for the tip BC....as always, great heads up.

I am collecting mine from BWS Lygon St and was thinking of it today after the sms came, but it will be next week for sure.

Now I did get delivered to home the six pack of Virgin Hills cabernet blends going back to 2001 ish. At about $159.97 the lot, I thought it good value considering all the Glenhope and Hope wine I bought for a song. And every bottle has been a treat. Last week, I had a couple of the Glenhope Cabernet 2008 and it is beautiful, with a nice acidity giving freshness and nice fruit. Seriously good. But these Virgin hills hark back to many a year when that European dude owned it before the pharmacist Michael noHope took over the whole show.

So a little bit of Julie Andrews singing in the background echoes in my mind. I am channelling a great film, NO, an absolute classic film with the beautifully sung, The Hills are Alive with The sound Of Virgins, oops, Music....and a glass of pre dinner aperativ The Haselgrove Cul Stor 2015 a short review found elsewhere.

The CM orders were in a pile and mine definitely not there. Either courier didn't hand it over or shop has given it to the wrong person. Person I spoke to had no idea who the person was who signed for it with the courier (couldn't identify a person with that name). But CM will call them again tomorrow. Otherwise I hope they deliver me a new case.

With apologies to blackcat we tried our 13 GSM tonight.. Wowee surely the best $4.50 wine I will ever drink. Had only had the 14 before and this makes me realise what a dip in quality that vintage was. Cheaper than water and better than a fair few $20+ wines I've had. Thank you Father Cellarmaster..

It was an 8.4 from me from memory

Now that the Cellarmasters discount codes have expired, they mysteriously have Veuve and Perrier Jouet back in stock. Who'd have thunk it.

Just a friendly reminder that the [post=1497497]Primo Estate (Joseph) Pop Up Cellar Door[/post] opened in Brisbane today and moves to Melbourne and Sydney later this month

Our Moët arrived so NYE champagne should not run out. $40.50 net from Dans with the kickers.

At that price, I'd prefer [post=1493631]Marc Chauvet[/post] :)

The [post=1503925]$100 vouchers from Citibank[/post] are still valid :)

Cellarmasters have very kindly arranged to send me a new case of Maverick as the original one could not be located by BWS. And I don't have to collect it.
