I trust you were not amongst those being shaken up overnight.

NO that was in the south, we were there 10 days ago. Now we are in Niigata - north west of Tokyo - nearly 3 hours by bullet train.

re: The view from my "office"

We needed a little help getting used to the very cold Niigata office today-

Bit of a false start to our break. Missed the footy due to a trip to Ikea of all things. Starting to maybe pick up now though.

re: The view from my "office"

Today's office was decidedly downmarket. Here in Niigata there was Aussie wine cheaper than Yellowtail.
It even came in PET bottles.:shock:

I'm in the LOTFAP and was desperate for some vegetables. So I ordered the beans.

Guess how they came out?

Correct! Smothered in diced bacon.

Looks very classy, not!
That said, I saw wine at Dan Murphy yesterday for $2.99 a bottle and not a cleanskin. I noticed it because I saw a bloke pick one up and couldn't believe the price. Then I saw a few more around the $4 - $5 mark
