Hi everyone,
My Mother & Father in-law are transiting in Dubai next month on their way back from Casablanca to Sydney. Unfortunately there's a 6 hour stopover between 1am - 7am so I'm trying to find them somewhere to sleep for a few hours. Does anyone know if there are any lounges where you can pay for a private room/shower in this airport? They're going to be in terminal 3 and are travelling cattle :(.
Thanks in advance
S

Go for the transit Hotel. Sleep is what they will need and the hotel is ideal.

Just another thought... is there any chance they would qualify for Dubai Connect? Presuming they are flying Emirates, that is. The connection would need to be at least 8 hours, and they must have chosen the shortest available connection. I note that the Casablanca flight lands in DXB at 01:10, and the morning QF/EK flights to SYD both depart at least 8 hours after that.

6-8 hrs is too long for a lounge. They should just book a room at the Dubai International hotel in the airport. It's above the lounges and quick to get to rather than go landslide to hotel. We do this often for a 6-9 hr layover. Nice shower, bed, food. Fresh for the next leg.

Yeah I know, perhaps I should have got involved when they were booking them - I guess this is what happens when you put all your faith into a travel agent. It's EK412, which leaves at 7.15, so not very user friendly at all!
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help guys. I'll suggest this to them and see what they say, otherwise go for the Marhaba Lounge
