I'm flying to LHR on QF9 tonight travelling with HLO. I tried to check in online, but it didn't work because it couldn't check me in for the connecting flight on BA (that's what the error message said). So now I guess I'm "partially checked in"... So my question is can I complete the checkin and get my BP in the QF domestic J lounge at MEL or at the service counter for international connection or at the QF ticketing desk at T2. I'm sure I did something similar in the past, but can't remember what the outcome was...I'll be at the airport early, so I wouldn't mind spending more time in the QF F lounge than in the Dom J lounge. QF9 departs at 11:25PM so I guess the F checkin suite only opens after 8PM.

Why not pop into the F checkin in T2?

Last time I was in T2 at 3 PM ALL QF counters were closed (absolutely no QF flights at that time), the only QF employee in the terminal was at the "crew positioning" desk.
