Just came across this and registered successfully, but had to use a new SPG account (just merged them after)

SPG Corporate Preferred Sign Up (Gold Lite) | LoyaltyLobby

Seems that it is essentially a corporate program that gives 'Preferred Guest Plus' which offers the 4pm check out and 'enhanced room upgrade' like gold, without the additional, small SPG gold benefits.

It's certainly not enough to sway me from Hilton&Hyatt where I have Diamond but nothing to sneeze at if I end up at an SPG property.

Thanks for this JT. Might come in handy if no Hiltons or Hyatts. But as you'd know, I'm loving honeymoon phase with Hyatt. We are so happy together.

Thanks, I'll have a look at this, but just before I do, how tricky is merging accounts? As I stay at Rydges airport occasionally it may be worth it for extra points I think.

There is an account merge link on the front page :) But, unless I'm getting the question confused, you won't earn any SPG points or benefits at Rydges because they are not Starwood properties.
