are there any 3rd party BPay services out there?

I need to pay a bill using Bpay.

The receiver ( merchant) doesn't offer any web site facilities to take the payment.

I wish to use Qantas Cash ( a debit card) to make the payment, but Qantas Card web site doesn't have Bpay payment functionality.

Can anyone offer a solution?

I looked at Aust Post Bill pay but my merchants are not on their lists of their permitted merchants?

Can you call the merchant and ask them how to pay by "credit card" and give them your Qantas Cash card number for payment. Does the merchant's website have any instructions on "how to pay by credit card?"

maybe they have pay by phone option. tell them your bank (like ING or Ubank) dont have Bpay

This is the problem I am trying to overcome.

The Merchant won't take c/card payments for repaying the bill, but they do permit repaying the bill by Bpay and their Bpay protocol allows Debit Cards to be used.

Qantas Cash will give me 0.5 points per dollar.

I just need a way to use the debit card to process the Bpay electronically using the numbers given to me by the merchant

I just finished paying some queensland utility and rates bills. I noticed they use the same service provider so I wonder if it will assist you.

Check out : https://www.bpoint.com.au/bpoint/

I can use the Bpay numbers of the utilities I am paying and it works to allow me to enter my non-CBA credit card.

I tried using the valid BPay number of RACQ and I get the message :

  • Biller code you have entered is currently not registered to accept BPOINT Internet payments. Please contact the Biller for alternative methods of payment

Looks like they accept a subset of the Bpays. Hopefully yours falls into the subset of registrations.
