The stay period seems more flexible at certain properties, the Sheraton Deva in New Caledonia gives the 50% reduction until mid-December.

I find the SPG Hot Escapes to offer quite good value. Posted weekly late Wednesday (AEST time), some good deals to be had in Asia.

Not sure on how much the selection varies each week; I'm holding out for a particular resort .

HotEscapes and BRG can yield some very good deals. Key to BRG is to remember it takes 24 hours for SPG to check the competing rate and confirm, things can change during that timeframe.

I had to unsubscribe from e-statements and then logout and click again and got the 200 points.

With the recent BRG changes ie you need to hold a current reservation before claiming, there are reports that the processing of BRG is now as good as an half an hour response. There are many positive comments in the past few weeks over at FT, following months of whinging that the BRG process was taking up to 60 hours.

I tried the same and also did not see any points. Although in my case didn't see any 'offer' of 200 pts for signing up to the estatements...

I unsubscribed but don't see it in my dashboard, Oh well it was only 200 points.
