I've not flown with qf through Dubai. I read there are emirate lounges T3, Concorde a, b & c. I get the impression from reviews C is the best. Thus my question, which lounge nearest arrival of qf1. I'm flying through to LHR. Thank you.

Probably Concorse A (the newest and main 380 terminal) but you won't know until you land since the gates used vary often depending on airport loading. Personally, I'd just got to the nearest lounge closest to the departure (qf1 landing) gate.

Usually just go through security screening and then up the escalator.
The lift then takes you to level 4 or 5 (cant quite remember) and the EK First (or Business) lounges are right in front of you when the lift doors open. Both are seriously enourmous and have their own exits direct to your departure gate.
BTW if you are looking for the EK spa it is outside the EK 1st lounge. - I wasted 20 minutes inside the lounge looking for it the first time I went, although much better trained now. :)

The Dubai lounges for EK are on another level in terms of size. Good range of free newspapers too - it's the only place in the world I've ever seen the latest editions of the Times and the Australian available simultaneously - impressive! :)
