Redemption for CX flight

I posted in the newbie questions thread about this a few days ago - my CX redemption took around a week to ticket. I was worried just like you that in between my making the booking and it ticketing CX would release the seat again. The award ticketed fine and the seat was held (even so I kept checking daily on QF/BA just to make sure.)

If you ring AA now you can get the CX PNR from them and select seats etc. Some parts of CX's MMB won't be available until you have a ticket number, but for me seating was the most important. Hope this helps
