Which wine cabinet?

What do you use a database? Proprietary software, Vintec spreadsheet or your own invention?

I use Winebase: WineBase - Wine Cellar Inventory Software

Daver6 uses something else - web-based and free IIRC. It looked pretty good, but I'm already set up. It is mentioned on the wine thread, but I'm sure he'll step in here in remind us of it. Otherwise PM him.

Just loaded wine base. To both iPad and iPhone 6+
It doesn't seem to like using larger txt.

If you own a Vintec cabinet, you can also register for membership with the Vintec Club using your serial number of the cabinet you own. You get some special deals with Langtons and Riedel when you become a member. I think there's a cellar tracking tool as well - not sure what it is or if it's any good though (I keep forgetting to register my cabinet).

Thanks. I did all of that and have the Vintec tool, but found it a bit overwhelming!!

Several reasons.

1. We'd just started
2. I was making $17/hour
3. That figure was only the wines that need storing (ie. no quaffers)

It's easily over $6k now

I have never thought to record the price I paid or the current value. I may have more money tied up in wine than I realize.

Absolutely.

Which is why I want to know if there's something fundamentally wrong with a Hisense design as opposed to paying extra for the Vintec brand name.

And thanks for the invite ;)

So have you taken the plunge?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I just wanted to share photos of the "wine cabinet" I've spent the last couple of months building...
