Hey All,

When my status credit expiry month is May 2015, does that mean it's the end of May or the start (1 or 31?)

I believe it's the end of the month

Yes, the end of the month. Hence a related question: I am flying YUL-SFO on AA the week before my renewal date. Those flights should make me qualify for QFF SG. What happens if the SCs are posted late, after the renewal date? Please don't tell me "too bad"...

They will backdate to the day you actually fly them, even if they post after your renewal date.

Thanks Tom, for putting my mind at rest!

That said, I've seen anecdotal postings suggesting the old status may show on the BP for flights booked prior to the new status. The fix suggested is to remove your FF details using the Finnair or Royal Jordanian websites and then re-add them, which should then display the correct status. This will help with lounge access if you don't have a Gold card yet ;)

A small difference they backdate to the scheduled departure for the flight. Generally that's the same thing but I have had a delay when the flight departed the next day, however the credit was for the scheduled departure date.

More info: The actual date of departure was in my new year and I would have preferred the SC in the new year. not in the previous year as per the scheduled departure. :(

Good point.
