Hi,

I have tried to claim missing points for myself and my family via the velocity website in february, then calling velocity direct in mid-march, then emailing in late march (copy of email below-personal details deleted) for flights from Perth to Koh Samui via Singapore on Singapore Airlines in January this year. I have not had the points credited, or any status credits, although I was told on the phone this would happen. Is there a problem? Could you please assist.

Thanks

Hi,

As discussed I have claimed these missing points online in early febuary and they have still not appeared in my account - refer flight details below. When I booked the flights with Singapore Airlines I provided my velocity frequent flyer number.
Please credit these points and reaccess my status, I have been downgraded from Gold to Silver, I should remain in Gold.
Thanks,

N,Q,T V were not valid for any earn in FEB14

I had a SIN-MEL flight Nov 14, on SQ Metal, booked via SQ but input Velocity number for points pool. This was before the December '14? two way transfer of KF - VA points was started.

As I had a few thousand Krisflyer points (at that time you couldn't transfer to Velocity), I used them as a part credit on the flights, saving $80 and paid the rest with credit card. Flight was a flexi saver, so it should have been able to earn either Krisflyer or Velocity points.

Krisflyer points were no use to me, so I pooled to Velocity.

Upon returning, I didn't see the points appear in my Velocity account, so put in a manual Retro points claim. I've now received a email back from Velocity, pointing out that the flight wasn't valid for earn due to the fact I paid for some of the flight with Krisflyer points. REF: Points Earn with Airline Partners | Velocity Frequent Flyer

So be careful, if you fly SQ and input your Velocity Number to pool points to, make sure you adhere to their very strict conditions.

It's probably safer to pool to Krisflyer then transfer back to Velocity now that's available.

I don't think you would have been able to be credited to SQ anyway. As soon as points are used as payment, it becomes ineligible to earn

other special discount tickets as specified by Singapore Airlines or airline
