Latest email "specials selected just for you", thank you for suggesting metamucil and toilet paper...good combination, next product you recommend is Slimright sliming powders, what are you trying to tell me?

Why do you recommend products that i bought less than 5 days ago?

20% off Easter confectionery. AFTER I've already bought for the kids I need to buy for. Too late WWEDR.

SO...

Make sure your rate it unfavourably and give them a serve for offering you something inferior to what you got from Coles a few eeks back (25% off all Easter eggs/sweets etc).

The 'rate this offer' is very important to do.

On coupon books:

Been receiving emails since early Feb "use your coupons." Trouble is never got any coupon books. Now 1 a/c last Thursday, another yesterday and hoping for a 3rd shortly. Thresholds have fallen from Dec Qtr coupon books for most couons except for the least spending person it has doubled.

No sense at all to that move.

So today I get another message saying that now I don't even need to activate the offer for 20% off Easter confectionery, they've activated it for me. Still not going to use it.

I frequently send them feedback about how their $120/$160 spend offers are useless to me and rating those offers as poor, but they sent me another one during the week  Admittedly they have sent some more attractive offers recently as well. Just not this week.

Glad I'm not the only one that keeps receiving that. There'd be a lot of wasted food for $120!

Do we know if 2 coupons from the book can be used at the same time? For example one of the weekly coupons with one of the all 6 weeks coupons.

The book says that multiple coupons can be used at the same time. You just need to check the valid dates and make sure you qualify for all the terms and conditions of each coupon. The order you swipe the coupons in could affect how each one works so plan and choose carefully and do as many calculations as possible ahead of time.

We have two coupons, but will be in Europe for three of the 6 weeks.

Basically, couldn't give a stuff about WOW coupons :D lol

After a month or so with little coming my way the 500/750 points offers for $120/$160 spend are back in my inbox and will be used this weekend. Woolies must have taken the hint that all the 750 points offers for $200 spend were above my level of spend/interest. Time to stock up on a few essentials.

I used three or four coupons at once with the last booklet.

Thanks. It's SWMBO's booklet. She was concerned that only one could be used. I'll have another look but I can't find any information either way. As I'll also be away for a couple of weeks, ill have to give some instruction on order of use.

Just received $120/500 pts or $160/750 pts offers on my two most active accounts - provided negative feedback and not activating either - entry level needs to be $80 for 500 pts to stir our interest. So off to Coles this week!

The offer I got on one of my accounts was $80/500 points or $120/750 points...

Time to stock up on cat food and toilet roll at our local champion woolies with our plat edge card!

I'm working on my shopping list for week 1 of the vouchers. Only problem is I cant remember what my first week vouchers are! Guess I'll work out how much of the list is getting bought and how much is carried over to week 2 when I find the vouchers!

Mrs QF WP got a similar offer to others here:

Looks like it's raining EDR points in BNE this weekend along with the wet stuff

My partner got spend $80 for 500 points or spend $120 for 750 points. The target is too high for one regular shopping trip.

It's interesting to note that EDR are still sending email offers to members who have the coupon books. They never used to do this. If there was a multi week promotion the other types of offers would just dry up. Perhaps they are copying the flybuys examples where lots of different methods are used to send offers to members and all of the offers can usually be stacked.

same here. nice drop from $200 spend

Just to confirm a couple of things

- Opal cards in Sydney are free?
- Can top up Opal card at Woolworths and the spend counts towards targetted spend promotions?

I hardly ever use public transport in Sydney but my brother does and a couple of opal cards come in handy.

Also looking to get 3 prepaid sim cards and topping up accordingly. I have Virgin mobile so is it possible to get Optus top-ups at Woolworths that count towards targetted spend?

I can confirm that OPAL cards are free and in my experience topping them up always counts towards targets although if you contact EDR centre they will tell you otherwise. I even used my $15 voucher earnt last week to top up one of my sons OPAL cards today with $20 and so ended up paying only $5 (I grocery shopped at Coles this week) even though theoretically that should not have been allowed either.

I have also bought Amaysim top-up vouchers twice and they counted towards target. So go for it.

Lets see how their targeting goes over the next month as I wont be shopping a Woolies, hopefully get better dollar / points offers
