Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

So bottle price same if purchase 1 or 6? Seems an interesting pricing structure to me - not much of an inducement to up the purchase?

And FWIW I didn't receive the email either - best I call them morrow.

Let me know if you want their numbers (I got calls from both a direct and a main PABX number)

Tonight I'm starting late - Wednesday is indoor beach volleyball night. Showered, cleaned up around the house and settling down in front of some telly with Mrs QF WP. Pulled out a quaffer:

A lot of oak on the nose and dark red fruit, firm and full on the palate and moderate astringency. Would have been better with a meal.

Haven't you ever washed your Riedel glass? :)

Well whilst I've never paid for any good wine glasses (as they are all wedding presents), I don't have that kind of money. Hand washed every night and rotate my two Riedels.

You are way too modest.
Either that or your friends know you like a tipple or 3. Lots of glasses?

2012 Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz - $58 single, or $348 for case of 6

FWIW: Dan's have 2012 389 advertised at $58.80 in 6s - with PP/WISH comes back to $52.69 - offer valid 19 Mar to 29 Mar - I think that might be as cheap as likely to see it - other's thoughts?

I bought bin 389 from Dans for sub 50s about 4-5months ago but havent seen it low 50s for a while now. Damn good drop.

Riesling menu looks fantastic! Shame I'm not in Brisbane! Era seem to do some really great wine events, including a Mountadam event in September last year, at significantly lower cost than similar events in Melbourne. Era foods looks good too!

Can't find the Pinot Noir one on their website.

Picked up this number at a Two Hands tasting last night. Pre-release 2012 Ares Shiraz, and at 60% the usual price.

Current release Bin 28 and BBQ accoutrements. Very drinkable for a young wine. Quite well rounded silky tannins. Yum.
