Our old house didn't flood (well, presume not, as water levels on Sat weren't much more than Fri).

I think it's a sign that this is the year to justget rid of it.

So why was it touted as category 5?
We were here when exTC Fran which made landfall just north of Bundaberg in March 1992 went through the Sunshine coast.It was category 2 when it crossed the coast but the wind was much worse than we experienced with Marcia.

So why was it touted as category 5?

Most weather agencies review their information, and may (or may not) publish updates some time down the road.

UITA, can't see any problems with a frog - I'm sure I'd have posted one if I could have packed one. Rain was over yesterday and today was very humid. Lots of water flushed through our local creeks so will check them out tomorrow morning

Just walking my dog along the path in the reserve near our house when I heard a rustling and saw my first koala in a long time - looked very healthy. He was off to find another tree. Good to see it survived the storm and that it has its home range here
