Hi all, I'm here hoping to learn a bit about how to maximise my earning of frequent flier rewards points, and also how to best put them to use.

I really enjoy travelling and seeing new places, so try to make it out of the country 1-2 times a year. I'm pretty easy going and don't mind roughing it a bit so I usually go on a fairly small budget and with a carry on only.

I also work in the mining game so I fly around a bit for work. Currently I'm silver with VA and platinum with QFF

Hi mouse. You have come to the right place to maximise your earning (and learning).

Looking forward to hearing about your travels.

Yes Welcome.

You'l learn more than a bit, this is the FF uni :)

Haha cheers guys,

Sorry about the late reply, unfortunately I drew the short straw on my accommodation during the last tour of duty. No internet, no phone reception, no TV and no water pressure in my donga . On the plus side maybe qantas felt sorry for me as I got bumped to business class BOTH WAYS going up to and coming back from Karratha. Not sure how the hell that happened as nearly everyone on that plane is QF Plat.

Welcome to AFF mouse.

Wish I'd been smart enough to buy some property in Karratha or PH when I was working up there 30 years ago. You could get Woodside shares then for 85c...didn't buy any of them either.
