I know payments to ATO has no points now but does anyone know whether payments to Customs for import duty/GST etc gives points or not?

Is there any way to work out if a particuly transaction has posted point other than calling Citibank and ask (may be even then we won't get an answer?)

Do payments for insurance premium (eg car insurance with say NRMA) still give points? All these exclusions make it very confusing!

I pay my duty and taxes to the carrier (FedEx etc) so yes, from personal experience no problem with points posting on my Signature card.

Can't comment on paying directly to Customs.

Not sure if paying Customs will work, but if you are using a customs broker and they accept credit cards you are good to go.

Yes that is exactly how we roll.

Who are you using that accept credit cards if you don't mind me asking? And is there a surcharge?

AFAIK. We've used two or three different freight forwarders who have never accepted credit cards. We have found that a certain road freight company who charges a surcharge for credit card payments has allowed credit card via BPay without the surcharge though :D

We use Triways Australia - 1.5% but using Prestige $1 = 1.33 KF pt

Hmm. I'm getting $1 = 1.4375 QFF which probably results in paying about 1c/pt which is probably worth it I guess.

Will keep Triways in mind if we run into any problems with our existing carrier who seem pretty cheap so far :)

hi you said payments to ATO we cannot get points, really? where does it say that?

I also have an American Express Gold from CPA, just wondering which credit card to use to pay my ATO bill
