I've been searching for information too, but haven't found anything extra about when it will be released. I fuel up both my cars at our local BP already, so it will be nice to get some extra benefits from it.
I would imagine it will be sometime this month, given it gets a mention in the inflight magazine this month.
The quote from JB in this months Voyeur " In the coming months, members will be able to earn Velocity points when filling up at more than 1400 BP fuel retailers around Australia "
The ability to earn points through BP retailers will commence in early 2015. To support the partnership, BP will also launch a mechanism for customers to participate instore and earn points through Velocity Frequent Flyer on same day purchases.
I am surprised about a couple of things - I assumed incorrectly it started this year - went to BP yesterday and they had not idea - not even an idea that it was coming. Found reference on BP website, but could not find anything of the Velocity site - I think by now they would be in a position to provide a start date
Fair enough I mistakenly thought by now it might have started.
I chose a BP fuelcard rather than a Caltex one because of the potential to earn va points this year, so the early announcement snared a little business. (I know its not guaranteed fuelcards will earn)
another delayed project. looking like mid-year now. Virgin Australia, BP partnership lets you earn points on petrol - Australian Business Traveller
