Why aren't QF codeshares on AA showing in the oneWorld Explorer engine?

I'm building a DONEx for next year using the oneWorld plan & book engine.

I know that for all six flights on AA metal I want in the US, QF codeshares on them (confirmed by a dummy multi-city booking on the QF website). However, only AA flights show as options when selecting flights in the OW engine.

Trying to do the 'right' thing and select QF-coded flights (and snare a few more points) but I'm thwarted by the apparent absence of updated QF flight information at OW.

It's a PITA after all the QF hullabaloo about extending codeshares under Simpler & Fairer[SUP]TM[/SUP] and encouraging pax to book those by making them more rewarding. QF does have a knack of making life hard at times :evil:.

Any ideas out there on how I may overcome this? Is it worth phoning QF and seeing what they can do? PM Red Roo and point out the deficiency?

The oneworld online booking tool has a problem showing codeshares. A large number of them simply won't appear. I tired contacting oneworld about the problem, but they wanted a list of all the flight numbers that weren't showing up...:shock:
However, for DONEx's...
They book into A within North America (for 2 class flights). Thus, AA does not sell J fare classes on those 2 class flights. The QF codeshares do.
If you book on the AA code, you'll be in A. If you book the same flight on the QF code, you'll be in D.

They book into A within North America (for 2 class flights). Thus, AA does not sell J fare classes on those 2 class flights. The QF codeshares do.
If you book on the AA code, you'll be in A. If you book the same flight on the QF code, you'll be in D.

1. If D not offered then book in A. If A not available then book L (now Y with the last rule update I think).
2. If D is offered then book D. If D is not available, book L.

Other then the 1 class flights (Eagle EMB140's, CR2's) and the 3 class flights (32B JFK-LAX/SFO, limited 777 hub-hub flights) the AA codes follow option one. The QF codeshares follow option 2.

Thanks - I was fully aware of the book into A on an AA 2-class bird (being doing a DONEx annually for more than a decade). But the book as D if a QF codeshare was a (nasty) revelation that I will make no attempt to waste any more time on .

Man, have you done the homework! - but I wouldn't even think of booking anything at all on JQ :shock:.
