So last night when checking In for my flight on JQ (MEL > BNE) I was offered an Emergency Exit Row at the checkin counter , which of course I gladly excepted.
Little did I know that aircraft was a A321 & not the smaller A320 that JQ normally flies on this route.
I was in for a surprise as to the amount of leg room in row 25!
I must have had at least 2 meters of space in front of me to reach over to the In-flight magazine & safety card behind row 24 that was in front of me.
Apparently, accordingly to the FA, so much space is required due to the life rafts overhead that are required to be carried on this type of aircraft as the aircraft has considerably more passengers than the A320 .
So I thought I would just share with the AFF community a few photos of the extra leg room I experienced last night & would highly recommend row 25 on JQ's A321 should you be able to snare a seat here .

Is this potentially a contender for the best leg room on a Australian registered aircraft?
