ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

Run up the amount needed for those 50,000 points and then use the titanium bladed scissors from 3M. ANZ have points caps.

The ANZ Black is uncapped which is why I traded in my Classic and Platinum cards.
Just wondering if they still handed out points for ATO

Well Buzzard that was a surprise that ANZ Black is uncapped. Let's watch for answers on points earn on ATO.

I saw this thread got a new lease of life and thought I better take a look, not what I wanted to read and I confirmed it all in writing when I checked my most recent statement this morning.

The date is 9 November, is that the last purchase date or the last date they will transfer points, as my statement month is around the 14th of the month so if I pay my BAS 2 weeks early on the 7th of November will I still get the points on the 14th November.

Yes!
Then go Westpac Platinum Kris Flyer Amex from 9th November as this one is not included in the purge.

I would really like a card that I can get some Velocity points from, I am never going to get your sort of numbers Mr Cove to get me anywhere with Kris Flyer.

Just last week I got my first award flight using the Westpac SQ connection. I guess at least I benefited once. I still had to pay some dosh but much cheaper than an outright purchase.

Citi select is the best points earn visa in the market - even rivals bank Amex (accepted everywhere and usually with lower/no surcharges on visa) - makes it worth the fee at $350.

Diners MasterCard at 0.833 velocity points would be next best.

Albyd.

Yep but no ATO points (except on a few old cards with QFF selected for some unknown reason).
