I'd put that one in the empty file right at the back of the cabinet draw......... In a similar vein the rail link to Redcliffe was first enthusiastically talked about in the early 70's with a pretty line drawn on a map. That map got pulled out and vigorously waved around every time an election rolled around and as soon the election was over it was neatly folded away and put back in the bottom draw.
There are no firm numbers on how many people actually died due to them holding their breath in egger anticipation that something tangible would actually happen soon, but they are understood to be significant. Suffice to say forty ( 40 ) years later a D & C contract was actually let to Thiess in August last year to proceed with the first fare paying passengers not expected to jump on board a train until late 2016.
Don't get me wrong that is a very nice map attached ....... just don't hold your breath waiting for the hard hat boys and girls to turn up. Fortunately a system is in place now if anyone does run out of air in the interim - A masks will drop down from the panel above their head, Pull down firmly on the mask this will activate the oxygen supply, place the mask over their nose and mouth and breathe normally for about 20 years.
