Accessing and redeeming Altitude rewards online

Prior to the upgrade to the online Westpac banking website, i could access my Westpac Altitude Black account online, and see my transactions as well as my Altitude rewards points earnt. I could also redeem the points online. Since the upgrade, all I can see is the total balance of my Altitude rewards but not a breakdown of the points earnt, and now don't seem to have the ability to redeem the points online. Currently, been on hold on the phone with Westpac for 20 minutes....maybe an AFFer can help me in a more timely fashion?:)

Finally got through...the link to your Altitude rewards account from Westpac online banking has been "broken" since the upgrade and you need to sign into your Altitude rewards account via the Altitude rewards website for the time being:evil:

Gail Kelly at Westpac should cut the smiles and fix the call centre waiting times. I call Westpac from the office as I can keep working hands free while I wait for a human to respond. 20 to 35 minutes wait is quite ridiculous.
 
You can do from the banking login, just login select card and in middle of page below "Transfer from" is 'More account Actions"

click that and select Review/redeem points

This will take you to the points site ;)

Hmm the Bpay option seems to be broken too - I can't pay my online bills :mad:
 
Just sent off email to Westpac.
Under BPay, you should be able to select which account you will be paying from. Currently, none of the credit cards are listed - only my transaction account

I had a look at the video help on the main webpage. You are supposedly able to select which account from the drop down menu.

You need to select the Bpay biller you want to pay before your credit card will appear in the drop down box - not sure why, but I suspect it's because Bpay and pay anyone are now amalgamated and you cannot use a credit card to pay anyone.

Ahh, yes just tried this and now it works.
The other issue is that the BPay details need to be entered into a list of payers first, then go back to the payments screen and choose from the drop down menu. Irksome.
