New 100% buy/ gift promo til 31/7 (tiered)

My email says....
Until July 31, 2014, buy or gift Dividend Miles, and earn up to 100% bonus miles – up to 50,000 bonus miles. For example, if you buy 20,000 miles, you could add 40,000 miles to your total Dividend Miles balance.

However when I click through, 20,000-29,000 only pays 75% bonus (with 50% below that range and 100% above). As I needed another 50k, 25+25 would have been perfect. Maybe I'll give it a few days to see if it sorts itself out....

Might top off my account so I've got enough for a Europe next year.

My wife and I were talking about it last week... she asked me why we weren't flying F like last time... I had no valid answer.

I've still got 30,000 miles. Is it feasible to share/buy more to make enough to look for J to SYD-HKG in about 4 weeks time?

Not that easy with OW ex AUS, unless you are VERY flexible with dates.

I'm still annoyed that the e-mail indicates buy 20k, end up with 40k .. but the reality is it's a tiered bonus!

It is definitely targeted. that's what the e-mail sent to me from USDM said. Often though it'll open up to all towards the end of the month, but no guarantees.

As others have already confirmed, its targeted so no luck if you haven't received the email for your account.

Email says: This offer is exclusive to you and is non‑transferrable.

It does say buy or 'gift' though so there is nothing stopping you from using an account that receive the offer and buying it for other accounts.
