Will be spending a few days in LA before flying out to Canada. What time should we allow to check in before the flight so there are no issues.

Regards

IMHO no later than 2hrs prior to departure, just so your not rushing through security etc.

What Airline? What Hotel?

Serfty,

Not going till next year but doing my research. However in answer to your question I have planned to fly to Halifax with Air Canada, at this stage accommodation is either the Hollywood Orchid Suites right in central LA or some what further out at the Queen Mary. My wife wants to go on a cruise and I have no interest, at least this way she can boast she has been on a luxury liner :)

I have stayed at the airoirt hotels and taken the reduced charges and applied them to meals and transport costs resulting in no rush to the terminal as it is only a three minute bus ride away.

Further to this, If anyone has some info for me it would be great.

I am staying at IC LA Century City and have late checkout. My flight leaves LAX @ 22.05 hrs on a Monday night. I need to drop off a rental at Avis. What time do you suggest I leave the hotel.
