First time poster in QF thread...I live over on the VA boards.:mrgreen:

thought someone may enjoy this if needing a SC run from PER. From what I can guess, these flights are normally $4390 rtn ish.

Rule 1 of a mistake fare: Never ever post it up online for the whole world to see, lest thy fare be removed.

While generally true for mistake fares, this is not one.

Qantas are advertising it.

Had a quick look - couldn't see any return flights for the special price, only PER - SIN. Not able to travel but was interested to see, maybe availability exhausted now.

SIN-PER was available earlier, so I guess there was limited availability.

I would not have known about this deal if it was not for this thread.

Changed my previously booked Y class return trip to J both ways. The AUD157 in change fees soured the deal a little as if I had not been loyal to QF and not already booked, I would not have had to pay for the change.

As I do not need the SC, should I take the 11000 QF points or 6050 AAdvantage points?

6500 AA miles has more value that 11,000 QF points PLUS surcharges

Thanks for this tip. Booked a weekend away. Gave me a great option to achieve WP before I head to Europe later this year.
