I remember reading about it on here somewhere.
There is none - 100K in a Citi account for >30days and you qualify for Citigold which means F all. I did post the process I went through to secure Select card with very limited income - part of that process was firstly getting to Citigold status - I also had been using CitiBusiness Gold CC for a year leading up to this - it was a protracted involved process but at the end of the day I was successful. Sorry if that is not much help.I remember reading about it on here somewhere.

I would if I could remember where I posted it or if I had any idea how to search properly - techno gizmo stuff not my strong suit.Cruiser can we have a link to this post? I too would like to get the Citi select card if possible..
I'll post again very briefly:
1. I wanted to get Select but very low income
2. I held CitiBusiness Gold for like 12mths and put maybe 20K or so through it each month
3. I put 100K into a Citi Online Saver account so I qualified as Citigold
4. I got several rejections from Select Applics - last response letter I got name of Citi Credit Manager who signed my rejection - I worked out her email address from other Citi employees email addresses
5. I prepared a comprehensive package showing my personal net asset position with a full compliment of documents displaying pics of real estate assets I held etc and share portfolio details and forward it all to her via email explaining in detail why I was an excellent customer and basically they could not do without me so give me a Select Card
They did - rest is history - but it took a fair amount of work - if you up to it it can be done.

After reading Cruiser Elites post all that time ago I went one step further.... threw 100k into a citibank account to get Citi Gold.
Citi Gold customers get a 50% discount off the Select card - which brings it down to $350/year.
If you have decent spend (mine was >500K/pa) you can negotiate the fee down even lower closer towards a number that looks like a circle.
Yes high spend card holders are much sought after and CC providers will indeed bend to keep them. Of course you still have to deal with the incompetence back end but rewards of Select pts high earn well worth it - especially if you can secure card for 0 annually.
Yes they do.That's pretty much stating the obvious, surely they have a special line for Select customers though?
