Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me here. I've booked a trip to the USA and have some segments on VX metal (with VA flight numbers (VA5254 & VA5259). At the time of booking, seat selection came back as unavailable for the VX legs (I wasn't surprised).
After booking, if I go into the seat selection system under manage my bookings, both VX legs are now showing seat maps, and they look plausibly like real seat maps.
If I choose a seat and confirm, I get an error back about some changes not being able to be made, and by the looks of it the VX legs don't get any seats selected. I get another confirmation email but it doesn't have those seats saved.
It's not a huge deal (I'm hoping if I get boarding passes printed in Australia when I leave, that I'll be able to get a decent seat), but it would be nice to reserve the first row, which from memory was pretty good in terms of pitch. Not quite VA row 3 but not far off it.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
