As a few of you are aware - I've been working on a top secret Hotel tool for the past couple months and now it's almost ready for some beta-testers to jump on board.

What does this secret website do?

Think Expertflyer... for hotels.
Currently it's working for all Hilton branded Hotels, with Hyatt & Starwood just around the corner.

As the website enters the final testing phase I'm giving 30 AFF'ers the opportunity to become a beta tester of this new product.

How this top secret tool/website will help you:

  • It monitors your Hilton reservations in your HH account, and searches hilton.com twice daily for the same date/hotel/room type you have reservations for to try and find it at a lower rate. If it finds a lower price for the same exact room it will alert you with details.
  • It will pick up new reservations you've made in the past 24 hours, then scours the internet to find same hotel/dates/room on a non-hilton website. If it finds your exact room for a cheaper price elsewhere - it will automatically submit a Price Guarantee request on your behalf to Hilton (if successful - Hilton will match the price + give you USD $50 credit or a USD $50 prepaid card)
  • It will alert you if a Suite is available at not much more cost than you are currently paying. For example if you're paying $460 for a non-suite at Hilton Sydney, it would alert you to a Relaxation Suite being available for $480. In some cases, a Suite can be cheaper than a Standard room, and it would alert you of this too.
  • Custom price alerts at any Hilton branded property. It will notify you as soon as it finds the price you want (EG: You want to stay Hilton Bora Bora and want to know when the price drops to under $400/night)
  • It will alert you via email/sms the instant any of your reservations get upgraded :p
  • Tells you the chances of getting a complimentary room upgrade at any Hilton property before you make the reservation.
These are some of the key highlights but I assure you there are many more features that will actually improve your Hilton experience.

Why this post?

I'm looking for 30 fellow AFF members that want to be part of the pre-launch phase.
There is no cost to you to be a beta tester (in fact you will probably save money and LOVE staying with Hilton even more after using this), and once the site is officially launched you will have access to special beta-tester rates.

How to get involved

PM/Email me with your Hilton status level and I'll send you an invitation code for StayAngel.com
Email: [email protected] (include AFF nickname/HH status level)

You must be a Hilton Silver, Gold or Diamond member with future bookings and be a member of AFF (no lurkers pls).

Other Notes
This post has been approved by admin as a service to both the AFF Community and StayAngel. AFF has no commercial interest in StayAngel.

For those already trialing it, would we automatically get rolled over into this? :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Nice idea. Thanks for sending me a PM a while back.

It sounds like this would be more suited to those on flexible room rates?

I know one person using it entirely for the SMS alerts on room upgrades ;)

Could also be used entire to set up your own price alerts. Hypothetically, let's say you're going to Bangkok..
You could set alerts for dates you are thinking about for all the Hilton properties there (millenium hilton, conrad bangkok, conrad bangkok residences, hilton sukhumvit, doubletree by hilton sukumvit) and you put the price alert at say 3000 THB. If any of those properties have a nightly rate under your price it will alert you and you can go book it.

Another way this is useful to AFF'ers is you could set up an alert for Conrad Maldvies for $10 USD/night. If the rate comes up.... guess who's first to know before the 100,000 others waiting to jump in?

Just emailed, hope I'm not to late to jump in on this!
