I know I may be a bit bold posting this in the restaurant thread, but here goes. Can someone point me to the thread that gives directions to In N Out burger at LAX. I remember reading something about a car park bus from LAX. I know Erkpod posted he went there in his recent travels, but I can't seem to find the directions from fellow travelers. We will have about a 6 hour layover in LAX on Wednesday morning, prior to our Seattle connection, and although my wife seems to think I spend way too much time on AFF, I have talked her into some plane spotting at In N Out Burger LAX. I also think I have just about convinced her that her status credits belong in my account for family pooling. At least one of us should retain platinum VFF, right!

Take the bus that circles the terminals to get to the bus terminal. Take the Big Blue Bus from that terminal to head north and In N Out is very close to the road split of Lincoln and N Sepulveda. It is very Wayne's World at that one with planes coming in to land every minute or two. Have quarters in your pocket to pay for the bus ride.
If you miss that one you could go along Lincoln heading north and get off at Washington. You get a Costco as well as an In N Out on the north east side of that intersection.

Of course markis10 is a speedier poster early in the morning.

Of course, expect to tip the shuttle driver $1 or so per person each way ... They are used to people doing Burger runs - just don't be overt about it.

Thanks, openning at 10:30am seriously pushes the time. We will decide if we go, when we get into LAX and through the immigration queues.

In N out Burger is a must. Was introduced to this Californian treat ..... I mean experience a few weeks ago.

Here is the full menu, that is the thing about them, you only have a few options to choose from.

I did see a few of them in Dallas and Memphis also in my travels so they are expanding under their new ownership.

Bugger did not see this.... Where is that bus for pickup at lax..... Which terminal?
Bloody free shuttle from motel forgot hand brake and nearly ran over me... No tip for you!
Bus was $1.50 other direction I took yesterday

It's eminently walkable from the terminals, 15 mins maybe?

The "regular" menu is small but the "secret" menu has some gems, just google "In-n-out secret menu".
The fries are terrible though.

Enjoy the planespotting!

The fries are terrible though.

Ahhh - but that depends on how old they are from what I was told and advised - they are bearable if you consume them first up (as I did) in the restaurant as soon as they are served to you - before touching your burger. 10 minutes down the road, and you might as well bin them - again from what I was told.

Eating in, as quickly as you can, is the best way to experience In N Out Burger - only had it the once, but this is what I was told.
