2 Old Dames on the best Dame in the World - Queen Mary 2

We enjoyed our last dinner at MDR last night. Hadn't actually planned to go but the menu seemed good and timing worked. We'd already said our goodbyes the night before and tipped just in case we didn't show. So I think everyone on our table was pleased to see us? Well, they were polite if not. :D

I ended up being the first to leave. Too many nights at the Nightclub. I was done in. Dame the Older kept up the tradition I believe. Her deck leaves before mine so we'll meet at the Hotel.

Just realised I didn't receive my Account last night but it's there this morning. I'm all good with it and think I had great value with it all. Bought some lovely jewellery from Swarovski and a lovely pink gold bracelet I'll see if I can get a matching necklace in HK. Some rather nice pictures too especially one I love when being draped over that lovely black grand piano. Given the way I was precariously perched I managed a nice smile.

Dear god what on earth are they doing out there? Crashing and banging. Who said Portside is best?

It's always sad when a part of ones trip finishes - but as yuo said, the rooms at the Langham will make up for it (no rolling in bed anyway).

So, where are these photos of Vlad the Abs Master ?? Anna and Princess Fiona may not be able to contain themselves

Chaos disembark. Minimum 2 hour taxi wait once you can even find the place to start. Lost my pink gold bracelet in the scrum.

They don't believe in trolleys here. Just stupid. Currently in a free bus to a shopping centre to catch a taxi from there as I have at least another 90 minutes for a taxi at the Port. Hopefully Singapore does it better for the rest of our table. HK major fail.

I do love the Langham Place. Once I was in a taxi even though I'd lost the bracelet I was ok.

The items in the package are gel eye masks. Perfect. These are keepers too.

I posted a photo of Vlad from behind in a group of 3 people in Kinabalu. He's now left the ship at end of contract. :p

The Club Lounge has wines and spirits and beauties like Baileys, plus snacks, available all day. High Tea. Then at 6pm the Champagne is introduced with hot canapés.

I have my spot selected in the Club for QM2's sail out at 8pm and woe betide anyone who gets in the way.

It's very stormy here so I'm not going down to the promenade to watch it leave. Miss her already.

From behind, what use is that to me?? Well, possibly more use to Anna, Princess Fiona and others who are attracted to that kind of thing...

If Vlad doesn't want to show his face a rear view would also be fine :D

Hmmm, are you sure you posted photo of Kota Kinabalu? You mean post #393 - he's one of those two guys. That's hardly a decent shot of him. I feel robbed :D

I was looking forward to understanding why you went to his class sooo often :D

Hmm. Quoting makes the app crash today.

I'm just wondering of what use a front view would be to you QP WP? :D. Please explain?

Maybe I went to the fitness classes because they were good?

This is a clever idea. Takes the kids out of the club. ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1396425519.387634.jpg

It's a room opposite with computer games and sweets.

The Langham Hotel is adjacent to the Langham Place mall which I think has the longest escalator in HK. Takes 1.30 minutes to climb. There's an app for that.

This is a close up of the huge tapestry in the MDR where I had breakfast this morning.

This is the Captains Table.

I'm still finding things in the room. As a previous guest on several occasions I belong to the 1865 club. So nice Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.

But of course Evian also complimentary in the Club.

The pool here is beautiful as are the women's spa. Not allowed to take photos of that though.

Tomorrow off to the gym which overlooks Kowloon.

I guess that is one of the downsides of cruising on a large ship. One of the easiest disembarkations I had was in Hong Kong from a smaller Seabourn ship. Down the gangplank, pointed out my luggage to a porter who put it in a waiting taxi and I was in the Intercontinental Club Lounge in a flash. I wish it was always that easy. :)
