Re: Changi Lounge Access Summary
Ok folks, I am still *working* out a way so I can experience the Suites for the first time, keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. However in the interim, for those who have been in Suites, what other F cabins have you enjoyed and compare those experiences with SQ's??
If you don't have a Westpac Altitude Black CC, start with getting one of them
The only F A380 experiences have had been with KE (ICN-LAX-ICN) and QF (SYD-SIN). I have been in other F non-A380 cabins such as LH F, TG F, SQ F (first ever F flight on a 744, a long time ago), OZ F, CX F and some AA domestic F (which is not really F). All my F experiences have been very positive except two flights with TG who performed way below par. Trying to imagine the legendary service that SQ offers in their Suites ..... *salivating* at that thought.
I've done F on QF 388, SQ 388, SQ 77W, SQ 773, CX 77W, TG 744 (seats, not suites), TG 388 and OZ 774 (not mentioning US dom F - that doesn't count) - quite a few of those multiple times.
My best flight to date was a QF 388 sector (primarily thanks to an
amazing FA), and most of them have been great, but given a choice I'll take SQ R over any of the others any day of the week, without hesitation.
I think it's a given that every aspect of flying Suites is either class-leading (e.g. hard product) or right up there with the best (food, service, drinks, lounges - pretty much everything except hard product), but more importantly, what makes SQ great is that they are
consistent. Basically, when you fly R you know that the hard product, the food, the drinks, the service - everything - will be great,
every time. The same can be said of SQ F, excepting of course that the hard product isn't quite as good.
