Hi all, got a weird question. I have been credited points and SC's with QF for a flight I was supposed to get on today but couldn't make. How can I get the points/SC's with out checking in and flying? I'm thinking I should call up and find out what has happened. Anyone else had this situation?

cheers, Dmitri

It happened to me too recently on jetstar when I had to change flights to get home sooner for a family emergency and didn't get time to tell them I wasn't going to be on it. To be fair I had spent so long on the phone to them trying to get an earlier flight that i couldn't face ringing back, and didn't really have that amount of time.
I had already checked in online.

Just spoke to Qantas, the lady at the FF centre said just leave them, it's a win. It could be the 10 sc's I need to make platinum by August.

Honesty is the best policy after all :D
(FWIW I probably wouldn't have phoned for fear of losing them ;) )

OK, but my thoughts immediately turned to a MH type situation.

Internally, QFs systems appear to have wrong info as to who has taken a flight. Not good.

I was a no-show on the QF system for the flight. That was told to me by 2 qantas staff members on the phone.

OT but how integrated are QF and QFF systems?
I doubt the OP appeared on the manifest for instance but I could be wrong.
