2 additional J seats on the refurbished B744s?

I was checking EF and it appears that QF have added 2 more J seats on the left side of the upper deck. Previously there was only 14AB and 15AB. Now there's a 16AB on the seat maps. Anyone else notice this and has anyone actually seen this for real?

There's been a 16A on some versions for quite awhile. I sat there when I went to BKK earlier this year.

Are those crew rest seats which only get released if the flight is full or almost full?

Exit row 16 indicate old 3 or 4 class configuration. (Skybed mk 1)

If it is old F below then take one of them.

Row 4 implies old fit out.

If thereis a 1B then it's a three class with no "First", if not then rows 1-4 are old First Class lay flats.

The QF sites indicates that no such seats exist, and that it's cordoned off. There have been instances before where crew seats do show, but only as a glitch.

I have a couple of reservations on QF 15/16 and on each of them 16A/B are present on E/F. In one case, E/F shows 16B as allocated.

After a closer look at this I agree.

A check of MMB on QF.com shows they do not exist, even though E/F is revealing them.
