Later this year I will be returning from Europe and want to do a quick business visit to the office in Philippines. I can think of two redemption options:

a) ZRH - BNE with a three day stopover in SIN in which I take a separate nested sidetrip redemption to SIN-MNL-SIN. (online 144,500 kf miles $450 taxes)

B) Redeem ZRH-SIN-MNL then MNL-SIN-BNE. (131,750 kf miles $467 taxes)

Apart from the obvious miles difference, are there any strategic differences why I should choose one method over another?

I'm leaning towards Option B. It allows me a little more flexibility if I need to change my plans.

Thoughts and experiences appreciated.
