Hey guys!

Quick question.. Travelling from BNE to MEL yesterday on a 3pm flight with a flexi fare.

I had my meal and a soft drink and then about half way through the flight asked for a beer and was told I have to pay! I always fly home on a flexi and have a beer without cost .. I was told only between 4 and 7.. Is this right before I make a complaint???

Thanks

yes that's right!

Flexi guests receive a complimentary gourmet meal incorporating signature Luke Mangan items and beverages – including complimentary beer and wine on flights departing after 4pm

Domestic | Virgin Australia

Everyone can have a complimentary beer or wine between 4-7 weekdays on flights between mainland capital cities. However the website states Flexi guests can have one on any flight, any day after 4pm. Maybe you've just been lucky with the crew in the past before 4pm?

Thanks guys.. Always good to check before firing off a complaint.. not how i understood it but have clarity now.

Thanks again!
