You know you are a frequent flyer when ...

- Most of JessicaTam's list - especially the wifi connections

- Nestor greets you by name and asks how your trip last week to xx_ was

- Lounge angels take an educated guess where you just flew in from when using Arrivals access and are already grabbing a towel from the cupboard

- Hotel doesn't require ID or CC and is already handing you your room key by the time you reach the desk :)

- You are the go-to person at work whenever someone wants directions to the TRS desk at xx_ airport ("which airport are you leaving Aus from?..... Ahh that's easy - you turn left.....")

- Exec lounge staff already know your drink for the evening, and at breakfast time have your preferred coffee and juice under way as soon as they spot you

- You haven't bought toothpaste since........good question..??..??

- You have so many sets of PJs in the drawer that you start throwing them out because the drawer is full

That reminded me, duty free staff in SIN are trained to ask pax if they would like to maximise their allowances if they only buy 1 bottle, but they've learnt to not ask me that anymore since they know I'll be there again next week.

Coming back from PER into SYD I like the approach to with a left base turn for RW 34L when you fly over the beaches in the Royal National Park.

Who else gets a buzz of landing at a runway not often used like RW25 in SYD when you fly in over the Eastern Suburbs & the Australian Golf Course.
I have lost count of the number of times I have flown out of/into SYD but I have no idea which runway is which. Nor do I care.

I guess that means I am not a true frequent flyer.

I know how you feel. I don't keep my boarding passes so apparently, I fail as well. :(
:p

Does anyone not keep boarding passes?
I used to keep everyone but the past few years I have become very slack.

Many fade before I get a chance to put them in a drawer. I have lost some. Others have been damaged.

Another reason I don't like the flimsy paper BPs you get from the self check-in kiosks - much less durable.

I refuse to print BPs online - give me the romance and tradition of the airport counter staff handing over a hard traditional copy anytime.

I went through a short phase where the kiosks were "cool" now I enjoy being able to walk up to a counter and interact with a human.

That raises the Q: why do we keep saying YES when FAs ask us 'if you would like one' ?

I'm guilty as charged so don't flame me.

So your don't have to carry a set with you? Or so you can take a new set home for a friend.

* Although it's not really free and was already included in the price of ticket**.
** Unless off course it was an award booking.

And it's included in the cost of the award too!
