It appears so....

I just got an email from QF Customer Care thanking me for bringing their attention (via Red Roo who did that themselves - I didn't!) to this flight.

I really hope FA1 gets a pat on the back. I know my daughter will remember that flight for ever. I think that is the beauty about people like FA1 - they somehow realize that the pax they deal with are on trips that are the basis of lifetime memories - not just another commute.


I just don't get that feeling on other carriers

I am not an expert on caps (JB where are you?) but when we were walking through SYD terminal upon arrival a very nice young gentleman (I suspect No.2 in the flight deck?) wearing a beautiful Qantas pilot's outfit approached us and said hello to my daughter and Rebecca - he seemed touched by the flight also - I love that we can give back to the QF staff

Great thread Juddles. We took my daughters elephant to Turkey recently which was a nice conversation starter for the FA's. Sadly no tiny pj's with 4 legs on board.

Hey there all,

my kids and Rebecca have had an amazing visit home. Next week we return to Colombia. Once the chaos of family travel settles, will try to post some photos.

Red Roo, I have said it before, but the beautiful experience of that first big QF flight back from SCL to SYD, with those wonderful staff, really made an impact. We are Aussies who live away from home, and we love you guys

12hrs left of holiday - kids off to sleep now, early start tomorrow (6am flight BNE-SYD) with a few hours in the Flounge on our way through SYD My daughter spent an hour trying to work out appropriate attire for Rebecca for the Flounge! Very excited.....
