Hello Everyone

Am QP Silver and am planning a trip to see Captain America (well, a friend).

Do I fly Y for about $1000 to LA or do I splurge on Y+ on V Australia for the $1700 special? The Y+ would get me velocity silver.

Will be flying American Airlines internally to Vegas and DC (Captain America's home) and hopefully doing a few nights in a sleeper train.

Can afford to spend $1700 as Captain America will be accomodating me.

I know it's ultimately up to me but advice is appreciated.

Can't comment on V's Y+ directly...

What I will say is that on those transpacs where we were in NZ's "Premium Economy" we arrived in significantly better shape than when flying in Y...

With that special price I don't think I'd hesitate.....

Thanks guys. I think I just needed a bit of reassurance. Will book this weekend. And hey, I've flown Y+ BNE - HIR on Pacific Blue and found it great so should be good on V Aust. Unless stuck on the middle of the middle seats......

V Australia's Y+ is in a totally different class to the DJ Y+ so I think you'll be pleasantly supprised.
