Just noticed a thread on FT
DONE* increase from SA ? - FlyerTalk Forums

And checked the prices myself, they are indeed up ex South Africa.
Seems Korea is largely unchanged. Also not massive jumps for SA.

QF009, did you ticket yet ?

Seems like i need to get moving and book my Ex-KR asap although i really dont want to until Jan/Feb 09... decisions decisions.

When demand increases the prices go up.

As many people are booking ex-SA the price has increased with demand. If people move to booking ex-Korea then the price will increase from there as well. Of course the falling AUD is not helping.

KR still the same and maybe this will influence your choice Keith, although depending on the product the Ex-SA is not too much of an increase.

JohnK, yes, and if you were in business you would also do the same. We will always search the best deals, maybe even ex AU will be good again.
