would you let 10 status credits go? How much are they worth?

Well and truly a first world travel dilemma. During the recent KUL/SIN lounge run, Qantas kindly called me to let me know my SIN-MEL flight was delayed, this meant my MEL-SYD connection would need to change. But they offered to move me to a SIN-SYD direct flight. I eventually took up this offer. As expected I haven't received the 10 SC/800 points for the MEL-SYD domestic flight. As this was an operational change offered by Qantas I believe that I could get an Original Routing Credit for the MEL-SYD flight (SIN-MEL/SYD earn the same). But I really don't feel bothered spending 10 minutes on the phone for 800 points and 10 SC.

Would you be bothered?

As a side discussion: my ADL-KUL flight with MH earned a miserly 15 SC and 883 points with Qantas.

Cant you lodge the ORC request via email? Frequent flyer something...

Personally I would do it. But then again I need all the SCs I can get.

I think that's part of the problem, I need all I can get as well. But I have plans that will mean I don't need them. If all goes to plan it's a waste of time getting the points. So hard to predict the future...

Not sure. Possibly via the customer care form. Good idea, 99.

Edit: email sent to QFF service centre. I can be bothered to spend 90 seconds writing a quick email.

If nothing else, think of the lifetime SCs.

FWIW, I usually just send an email to [email protected] - just explain what happened and send a copy of your original ticket and new BP. Points and SCs usually credit then in 1-2 weeks.

Thats the email addy I was thinking of. And you can never have enough lifetime SCs.

I recently lodged an "original routing request" for points/SCs via the feedback form on the QF website; it was actioned within 24 hours.

I'd chase.

I'm a burner so there have been times where I was looking for a very low number of points to complete a booking .... sometimes 800QFFP can get that 1.24M QFFP booking over the line.
