Woolworths gift card thread

10x points isn't a great deal

Your paying 0.65c per ff point with these $100 Eftpos cards ( 1.06c for the $50) . Coles gift mastercards with the usual 2000 points cost less than 0.25c per ff point.
Isn't it worse than that? 100 WWR=50QF. So it's 1..39c (or 1.06c if using an Amex Edge and you couldn't pay the bill another way and get points)

I tried to rationalise these cards to pay a VIC land tax bill late last year (post must be a few pages back). It's a very borderline proposition imo, not least of all due to the time and effort required to acquire and then pay with nearly 50 cards.

Hopefully the Coles version (no points but no activation fee) will come back soon as it includes the $400 cards.
