Woolworths gift card thread

A hard way to make $250 perhaps but each to their own. Maybe for him a good days work

$250? How'd you get that figure? What value do you place on the points earned?

Even if they were using an eWISH card the value would be $2500 (500 x 5)

Just saw some guy buying over 500 of these cards. He is a dumb ****. Doing 10 at a time.

Taking up 5 checkout machines.

Idiot!

Not me :)

But did get another 150.

Wish this was on more regularly, but can't miss this opportunity.

for those willing to do the legwork, these cards can be had for $95 + 4ppd Amex MR
you will need to be local champion at a Coles however, and then head on over to OW for 5% price beat...

Ozbargain reported this several days ago. But I've tried it at Office Works and got no where.

It's a potentially impressive gross=net hourly rate. The eWISH purchase+liquidation+organisation time is likely to reduce it a fair bit though. Any 'breakage' is also costly

I spent 1 hr doing ~70 cards at my local. one by one. Was quicker than doing it with 2 or more cards. Also no auto confirmation from staff required. They must have disabled it for too many people requesting the staff for help.

That's not the case, every now and again random. Machines don't require intervention
Staff cant disable that feature
Come back tomorrow and the machine will require intervention

Get 21 cards done this morning at my local . First 10 cards by using 2 batch of 5 took exactly more than 10 mins . Staff offer to help doing 1 by 1 for the last 11 cards . Not sure which ways is faster factor Staff authorize n payment key in 11 times . Rather do 5 cards each and stand there reading AFF posts in between

There is an entire display of hundreds if not thousands of $100 denominations at town hall should anyone be looking. lol

I think it's faster to do it one by one. Esp when it's quiet and staff are there to help you.
or if when the machine doesnt require it.

I did get the odd verify message and then sometimes the EFT error message but that's unrelated. Weird.

I feel sad that it's Tuesday today, last day before the promo is over. But I'm very glad and thankful that WW has had about 4? great promos this year, from bonus points, DJ EGC, JB EGC, and now this one. Coles hasn't had a good promo in a very long time.

yeah I got that too every say 5 transactions, I thought it happened when I did the trasnactions too quickly, ie while the machine was spitting the receipet out, im already scanning the next card

the msg is "EFT is offline"
and requires staff to scan, but then it goes back to normal straight away,

every staff I spoke to said theyve never seen it
slowing down seems to reduce

dont forget the 2000 bonus www one :)

"EFT is offline"

Most likely due to their IT systems being cough.

Some machines required intervention but the other ones I used didnt (much)
